Helnan Palestine Hotel was built to accommodate theArab Kings and Heads of States participating in the Second Arab SummitAlexandria, Egypt in September 5th, 1964 . The summit formally approved the establishmentof the Palestine Liberation Organization. Naturally, nothing was spared toprovide maximum luxury, beauty and comfort. Helnan International Management Company took overthe management of Palestine Hotel in 1987, and since then the hotel witnessedtwo renovations ending with a third complete renovation and refurbishment in 2002to be the chosen place for hosting Kings, Queens and Presidents came from everyplace of the world to witness the Historical inauguration for AlexandriaBibliotheca.
